I have been researching and am having a hard time finding info about installing a Yank 3200. Any clues??? How long does the install take. Is it too difficult and should be left to a skilled mechanic.
If you have access to a lift and a mechanically inclined friend, you can do it yourself. I do most mechanicals on all cars, but left the converter install and tune to Next Level. Glad I did, too old now!

Installing a stall - same as installing gears. Whole driveline has to come down. You can do it in your garage on jackstands and a tranny jack. If you have access to a 2 post lift, it's much easier.
If dropping the entire driveline is not something you want to tackle, then pay a pro to do it. Get someone that knows C5 Corvettes - not just any mechanic.

Because I live in BASE housing, doing this install wasn't an option, I had a local VETTE shop do mine for $450 and that is a very fair price when it comes to saving yourself from headaches if you have never done this install.
