Default Push button start on a C5

I did a search and couldnt find anything. I was wondering if anyone has done a push button start on their C5? Would you be able to use the same one that the C6 has and how hard would it be to install it? Thanks in advance.

Probably be a pain in the asz. I believe its tied into the computer. Not to mention you will need new fobs and the priority start in the glovebox just incase the fob battery dies. Plus the device that detects the fob.

Now I have head that there is an aftermarket push button start but not sure where I read it.

PS. Have you cleaned your air filter yet?

Don't clean it til we get to race! It might be the only thing that helps me.

lol You know better than that. I havent even looked to see how to take the damn thing off. Wonder if Norris would know how to do the push button start thing. There is a guy here that put one on his Camaro but of course a Vette has at least twice the computers a Camaro has.

Yea, Check with Mike. If you schedule it now you might be able to have it in time for X-Mas or your birthday. I thought about going up to Norris for a dyno but their schedule is pretty busy. You might try Vinci or Breathless. They might have an idea on it.

Nope. No changes to the vette. Leaving pretty much stock. All mods are in the signature.
