Header Heat Question?
Those who have headers:
What did you insulate after installing LTs?? I am doing Koolsox but am worried that my starter and other misc. wires will get too hot.

Jet Hot coated LG Pro LT's, Kool Sox for plug wires, Elite Engineering ceramic coated tunnel plate (ran o2 wires above it), ThermoTec heat tape/wrap for starter wires (http://www.thermotec.com/products/full/full.html).
Overkill? Most likely but an extra couple $$ in 'insurance' is worth it to me.

I'm running Kooks 1 3/4" headers. Plug wires (Magnecors) are fine as are the other wiring harnesses. I agree with the others on this. If you're doing competitive events, wire harness is very important to protect; maybe plug wires too.
