Leave work at lunch today to meet my wife. On the way to lunch the active handling (traction control & competitive driving) would cycle on, off, competitive driving, repeatedly. I played with the button a bit thinking it has a short in it and figured I'd pull it out tonight. After lunch I get in the car and try to start it. 1st key turn = nothing, 2nd turn = small attempt to start, 3rd turn = cranked. I decide to take it to the house which is only about 2.5 miles away and now not only is the active handling still cycling, the DIC is cycling through hatch ajar and tonneau ajar. The check engine light comes on, I scroll through the codes and it is loaded with historical codes everywher and 1 current PCM code. I just cleared them all last week when the BCM was replaced and the dealer reprogrammed it on Tuesday.
So for the past month this car has given me nothing but headaches. Traced down my no start problem to a bad BCM. Replaced it, had it towed to the dealer so they could reprogram it. Drive it for 1 friggin weak and now it is going nuts again. Going to check all the grounds this weekend as well as the connections to the BCM. I have enjoyed this car for the past 2 years, but am about ready to trade it in. Too bad the C6's even with the current $7k rebates are a bit more than I want to spend right now.
defiantely go through and check the grounds and connections between the alt, starter, and battery! sounds like the electrical gremlins are at it again... and probably a loose or corroded ground! Best of luck

Also, look for any signs of water or moisture in and around the BCM/floorboard area.
