I experienced the infamous column lock problem last week. Checked this forum, ordered CLB from Corvettes of Houston ($50.00), and recieved the package in two days (Great Service!).
All went well except when I started the car for the first time I got the "pull key and........" The instructions said to pull the #25 fuse and wait ten seconds. I went to the fuse box and tried to pull # 25.
Question: How the heck do you pull these things? I could not get it out and after about ten minutes decided to start the car again. Everything worked this time, no message, and have not had it since during 5 days of driving.
Still, these fuses are really hard to get out. I know this is a really dumb question but how do you remove one without breaking something?
The OEM Fuse puller is barely adequate, but it does work. It's located in the fuse box next to the battery. You'll need strong fingers to make it work properly.
