I do - i talked to my local Dyno Tuner - A man i trust, He's also a dealer for Dynatech - he told me for $1399 + shipping he's BARELY turning a profit so he couldn't touch that deal... when i mentioned $1300 shipped for a set, he said "Where!? I'll take a couple!" lol

Its your money folks - but i'm looking at it this way:

I'm not going to get last years prices - so i'm not going to try...
TByrne HAS to make some money, else he wouldn't have a job...

Whats else is there to negotiate on? If $1300 is not going to happen, i suppose we could nit pick TByrne's profit to zero... how about $1325 shipped... but i don't think that would happen... So I'm gonna take what i can get...

Good question about the gasket... i know folks don't reccomend using the gaskets that come with the LG kit, are these any good?

Dan

Hum... Washington State to MA by 9am EST..... 3000 miles... you'll have to use warp drive and average about 275 MPH. Kitty will be waiting outside the door in the morning. He always wants to be fed first thing

The gaskets that come with these headers are metal. I always use them.

I'm not sure what the "offical GP" thread is for these right now but seeing that all of the discussion was done here I'll provide the updat here

6 orders in as of 9:30am this morning! You guys might make this happen pretty fast!

Oh yeah...LF97C5Vette... your late!

Looks like some of our members need to be reminded of this rule:

Interference in a For Sale thread
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you don’t like the price or item being offered in for sale thread, take it to e-mail or PMs. Better still, just move on to a thread that is offering something you like the price on.

If you post a criticism of the price or the quality of the item being offered, you will be in violation of Forum rules and subject to sanctions.

If you post your own for sale items to the for sale thread started by someone else, you also are in violation of Forum rules. Start your own thread, rather than jumping into the thread of someone else.

If your contribution to a for sale thread does not advance the sale, you are in the way.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This thread was created by tbyrne, he offered a product at a designated price, and some members turned this thread into a open negotiation session. tbyrne was very fair to consider the offers, and to counter, but, according to the rule above, he is not obligated to

Members that introduced other vendors, and other places to buy this product is totally unacceptable, and no matter how nice tbyrne was with the info/hijack, the forum will not be that accomodating

Such intereference/hijacking can/will jeopardize a members posting privileges.

This thread will continue any further violation of the rules will hinder the member from doing so.

No problem

I've stopped in to take care of a few things this morning. People have been placing their orders over the weekend so we're now at 11. Just need 4 more for this to go through!

I find that some (actually alot) of people will wait for the required number of orders to be reached before placing their order. The drawback is by doing this, the required number isn't reached. It's best for everyone to get together to make it happen.
