how hard is the ripper shifter install
You need to remove the center console!
There's about 6 screws, one behind the senor plate next to the igntion. One in the ash tray. Pop the covers off the four screws (10mm) under the arm rest
Disconnect the cables for auxillery power and the Traction/Active handling (And F45 if you have it).
Remove the cap off the shifter, pull the set pin or key out. Undscrew the *** after the set pin is removed.
Remove the rubber boot (You'll see to remove it)
Remove the four screws,
remove the "L" pin pull up and the shifter pops out.
Thats most of it, give your self about an hour the first time you do it!
Just reveres the process to install the Ripper!

I really like the short throws. It is stiffer, but not a problem. I think that if you went back to a factory shifter it would feel like you were trying to shift with a piece of cooked spaghetti. Good luck :chevy
