I have a 2000 corvette and recently bought some y2k replica wheels. The tire pressure sensors do not quite fit correctly on them. Where the valve stem/TPS goes it is recessed more than my stock wheel. That little o-ring doesn't take up that much space. After looking at the pictures of the gen 2 pressure sensors, it looks like these wheels would accept those just fine. Could I buy get the much larger o-ring seal that goes on the gen 2 sensors for my gen 1 sensors? Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks.
1997-2000 C5s use generation I sensors. These sensors should fit ANY year OEM C5 wheels. The generation II sensors (2001-2004) use a softer, larger, "gasket-like" seal, which requires less installation torque. But all C5 wheels have the same configuration where the tire sensors mount.
Some replica wheels will NOT accept pressure sensors. Some people have tried using o-rings on the outside of the wheels, under the sensor nuts, I am not sure how this works out. The recommended procedure is to band (using large steel hose clamps) and expoxy the sensors inside the rim.

NAPA flat washer - NTH90430 - $5.79
Hit your local NAPA store for these. It is an oversized o-ring kit that was suggested to me to help on after market wheels. There are two different sizes inside the package. The guy that mounted my tires used the smaller set. It seats the TPS better. I used the original o-rings from GM, but went back and used these instead. Don't have any pics of the install but it seems to be working okay.

That is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much.
