Cranking Issue
Over the past week, I have noticed a slight issue with my 98 vert. When I go to crank up the car, it turns over fine but never fully cranks. When I try it again 5 seconds later, it cranks up fine. Everything sounds normal, it just doesn't crank on the first attempt.
Could this be a problem with my spark plugs...? Or maybe something with my battery? I don't know, but I would certainly appreciate the help if anyone has insight.
Thanks in advance!

I'm leaning to 2 possibilities. Either the gas has recently been reformulated with more ethanol than before (which I know it has) and the PCM will take about a full tank before it adjusts the starting parameters, or the battery may be starting to go and provides enough juice to crank but can't get it to fire on the first pass.
Since I've only had about 2 tankfuls of gas since the winter, I'm waiting to see what happens after this tank is used up. I also added some fuel system cleaner.

Try this:
When you first turn the key to the ON position, listen and see if you can hear the fuel pump run for about 2-3 seconds and then stop. The noise of the pump can be heard from what will sound like the rear halo area behind the seat. The PCM will turn the pump on for a couple of seconds to charge up the fuel lines. If that isn't happening, you will have long of on start problems.
