Guys......
My baby is leaking up a storm. It appears to be coming from the area of the rear seal. I have checked the pan, filter, etc... and it is coming from higher up in the motor. How hard is it (and how long should it take) to replace the seal? Does the motor need pulling?
Thanks for any help you can give me. Dealer has it, much to my dismay and want to be ready for their answer.
I had the same leak. I didn't add any oil between oil changes so my leak was very small. The dealer covered it under warranty. They said you don't even have to drop the oil pan to change the rear seal. This was on a Trans Am. It took one full day.
