I think if a person worries about someone stealing their car this much then part of the car has been stolen already. :yesnod:
I worry more about some idiot in a (shudder) minivan parking right next to me than I do about thieves!!! I always park my car FAAAAR away from the crowd whenever possible! I'd rather let the insurance crooks er... company... replace a stolen C5 than live with door dings and scrapes!! :U
Willa....ANY car can be stolen if the thief wants it bad enough. You just do what you can to make it tougher for him and carry good insurance. I worry far less about my 01 Corvette getting stolen than any of my late 60's/early 70's muscle cars. Reason? I don't have thousands of hours of my labor in the vette, and they are still building them, so I can easily replace it.
Like has already been posted...enjoy the car, and watch out for the idiots who want to ding it all up cause they cant control those heavy suv/minivan doors, or the kids who are using them. And hope like heck if your car is stolen, that it's not found til after the insurance company's check clears the bank..cause you don't want to get it back!!!!
There have been a few cars stolen from the cinemark lot in Plano. I carry a neon green CLUB and use it...especially when I park on campus. I know it just takes a few seconds to saw through the steering wheel, but its still a visible deturent. Every little bit helps!!!
