troubleshooting code B0026 (airbag code)

I just bought an 01 Z06. Airbag light has been on since I bought it. Pulled the code B0026 (left front/driver frontal deployment loop (stage 1) circuit). What is the best way to begin troubleshooting this problem? Car has a cam and headers that was installed by the previous owner, if that helps any.

can send you diag doc if needed or will post frist check g104 under battery for loose or damaged wires
due to battery acid leaking on them had a lot problems with that
