Battery runs down
Have a 2002 convertible with 10,000. miles ~ If the car sits for as little as 30 days, the battery is dead. Originally, I thought it was a 'winter storage' problem, being stored for 4-5 months, but I charged the battery a month ago, and it was dead when I tried to start it yesterday.
Charger meter indicates the battery is good, but I wonder. Or is there something speciific to these cars that is a constant battery drain?
Thanks

more, remove the black, negative (-) cable from the
battery. This will help keep your battery from
running down.
Allowing it to sit any longer than about 3 weeks will drain the battery due to the various computer modules on the car. A Battery Tender is a good solution to keep the battery always charged.
