I heard the same thing... thinking about winter mods here, and the new KB looks good, big CI torq and HP but with FI. Now maybe de stoke one of these to 412 and spin the poop out of it??? Great times we have now gents (and ladies) with so many choices for our mod bugs

Not sure if the tech is here yet to increase the rev limit too high.

You need to be concerned about piston speed, and also the momentum of a big piston. Difference between a 4.125 stroke and a 3.65 stroke is only about 8%. All things being equal, and keeping your piston speed the same; you should only be able to rev 8% more.

No expert, so correct me if I'm wrong.

I am interested in the Warhawk block as well. I am in line at Summit for one of the tall deck blocks. I haven't heard too much reliable info as to exactly what heads, intake mainfolds can work with it. I know that World Products has heads available for it and a intake is rumored to be on the way. Although that is great, I would really like to know what OEM parts would work, say, LS7 heads and LS7 intake?

I hear you. Just looking at winter mods. Bikes did this same thing 10 years ago, went over square on the bores to decreese piston travel, to increase upper RPM limit. It's all about mass and speed vs distance, alignment of the moon... Great time to have the mod bug! Still on the fence here for big CI or FI, but then again half the fun is looking, learning and hearing other's opinions, experaince ect... Thanks brother!
