Replace Stock Injectors with what?
Hey guys,
I have a 99 C5 and am looking to replace my stock injectors to try and cure a P0200 code. I have the same voltage at all 8 harness injector plugs and smell a lot of fuel when the car runs as if an injector is hung open somehow.
What is everyone replacing the stock injectors with? I believe the stock injectors are 28.8#? If stock GM are the best, does anyone know the part number for a 99? I am trying to avoid paying $60-$70 a piece at the dealership, so I am open to aftermarket suggestions. I know I could figure out which cylinder is the problem with a Tech II, but with 75k on the car, I'm ready to replace all 8.
If there is anything else I could try before replacing injectors, I'm willing to try. I have had this problem before right after heads/cam went in and it went away for a few months. Now it is back and I need to find a permanent solution. I've got new NGK's and Taylor wires on as well.
