Air bag dash light
I had my 01 drivers airbag and module replaced after an accident. The airbag light will stay off, but only when the passengers air bag is switched on. If you switch The passengers bag off, then the light stays on. I had not replaced the switch. Could the switch be the problem?

With the switch on--- when I turn the ignition key to the first notch, the airbag light flashes 7 times and stays off.
With the switch off--- when turn the ignition key to the first notch,
the airbag light flashes 8 times and stays on.
With the switch on--- when I turn the ignition key to the first notch, the airbag light flashes 7 times and stays off.
