Default Question about Loudmouth

Hey guys, i just got the loudmouth put on my 02 vette. I am kind of dissapointed because the loudmouth sounded so much better on my 97 z28 i had. The loudmouth for the c5 sounds way to gurgly and when i rev it, the exhaust sounds kinda tinny (my own word) haha. It was not really what i expected. Is there anyway to clean up this choppy sound that it is producing? I also heard once you put some miles on it the computer changes a bit and it might sound better (i hope so). I called up Speed INC and FLP and asked them if a Corsa X-pipe would clean up the sound, and they said not at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i had a set of loudmouths on my FRC and long tube headers cleaned up the sound really well, however it was very LOUD!! i received a lot of compliments at the strip but it got so obnoxious for daily driving i switched out to the Ti's.

Yea, i love the sound when im driving it. I dont mind the excess noise. But, I hate the tinny sound when i rev it up. Even just alittle bit. It sounds really awkward. Anyone have this problem?

I thought the same thing when I first installed them on my stock vette. I have now added LT headers , a G5X3 cam, heads and intake. There is no more popping or anything it just sounds loud and sweet!

Another question i have is what is everyone using as a filler panel? The way the loudmouth bolts up shows a lot of the bolts and it looks kind of weird when looking at he rear of the car now.

i also heard that the stock h pipe has a "jingle" to it. Is that what i hear when i rev it up slightly and it sounds all tinny? Would a Borla X Pipe help that??

what style tips do u have? round or oval? i have the round style and had the oval before... i think the oval was a little louder not much... if you wanna hear my car one day let me know... since u called speed and flp tells me your close... maybe u should fill out your profile so people know where your from.... u should also check out the regional forum and hook up with the chicago crew at one of the event usally 20 to 35 of us get some food and hangout...
