ya, someone posted the fix bulliten from GM, that customers may hear a "jingle" and the fix was to relace the x pipe with the redesigned one.
Or get a Borla x pipe..
Do a search you may find that same thread, but it is caused by the x pipe.

Resonance and "jingle are two different things. I don't think an x-pipe will get rid of resonance but I know firsthand that it will get rid of the "jingle".
I have a Corsa X-Pipe along with a Corsa indy tiger shark catback...there is no jingle, but it does pop and gurgle! I kind of like it actually...sounds exotic!
I think the concept behind the different X-pipes is all the same...to reduce a lot of the H pipes noise and flow better...
I'm using X pipes. Had Bassanti's on both my '01 6spd and '00 A4. Worked great. Have now put LTs on both and they have their own Xs. Have a X on the '01 A4 which I think is a MagnaFlow. Don't like the Corsa design. Look at it, just a simple hole in pipe and welded together. Bassanti has a true X. Compare designs before you buy as the Bassanti type should give you smoother flow.
I just put on the Bassani X pipes with their Street/Comp cat back system and couldn't be happier. Yes, much smoother with their X pipe, and much more power with the exhaust. I would recommend the Bassani X pipe for reducing the lack of resonance overall.
Would anyone recommend the Borla X-pipe? Or are all X-pipe pretty much the same...

Tony,
I would definitely recommend the Borla X-pipe. It made a noticeable improvement in my car. However, mine is now for sale. I made additional exhaust changes and now the Borla X-pipe is surplus. See the C5 parts section for my listing if interested or PM me.
