Motive Gears?
I have 2:73s currently in my c5. Im taking my car in next month to get 3:90 gears put in. The shop im taking it to said they will have my carrier sent out to Motive and have them do the work to the rear and then the shop will install it. What are your thoughts on this, as far as should i worry, or should it be fine. Would a DTE carrier be the way to go?. Anyone have any experience with Motive gears? thanks

To my knowledge Motive is the only aftermarket gear set manufacturer for the C5 diff; that's what DTE uses when they do a swap.
Motive is in Italy I believe, so when they say "sending it to Motive" you have to wonder where it's really going. I'd stick with DTE if I were you, just send them your core, or they will ship you a rebuilt unit for yours in exchange.
