pre cats on 2002s

pre cats on 2002s
on the tour of the corvette factory at BG i noticed that only the Z0-6 does not have pre cats. the std LS-1 engine cars still get the pre cats. any one else notice this? :chevy

With the '02 ZO6, the pre-cats are now located in the muffler. The '02 LS1 still has the standard configuration.
I'm sure some '02 Z06 owners are thinking about switching to the upcoming Corsa Ti system for a more aggressive sound.

the 2002 Z0-6 specs says the pre cats were eliminated because of a better cat convertor design. :chevy

I also noticed the new sway bar links. All a cast and
braced alloy. Same on all models front and rear.
