new c5 idle question
Just bought the car on Sat. 9/1. 100 miles now...
All is well but it seems to have a rough idle especially in gear (A4 trans...)
Will this smooth out after the break in period? (500 miles...)
plug wire(s) maybe ???
No codes set...
I have the autotap software (that I used on my impala) but is it too soon to mess around with?
Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Mine has always had a rough idle. I didn't really notice it until I had a young college student ask me if there was something amiss. I just figured he had never been near a high performance engine before.

mine idles between 5 and 600 rpm.after i removed the cats i can really feel the stock cam.it seems like a rough idle but these engines are high performance and after you add a few mods,vettes will really shake. :yesnod:
