the block can handle quite a bit, even the rotating assembly can take 550-600 bhp. Yes there are better rotating assemblies and blocks.

The clutch and out put 1/2 shafts are the week links.

CLutch can still take 500 BHP, just not lots of drag starts.

The trans needs minor improvements as in brass not alumium shifting forks and micro polished gears, and cooling Then it will be almost bullet proof.

Questions is what do you want it to do?? the end result? budget? do you want to build the whole engine or buy one built??

Depending on the Maggie you may want to consider different heads and cam to get the most out of the supper charger.

Not a problem as most SC power is not susstained for very long

well im just looking to get around 430 at the wheels, and a stock engine and maggie will do that, this is a daily driver and id like to stay below 450. i get in enough trouble now with 350
i just drive quite aggresivly and was wondering about my engine popping like a baloon

You should be fine. There are a few shops in the midwest that can do the work and advise you.

Yah I know about getting into trouble, even with 350 hp.

I am running over 850hp on my boosted drag vette on a stock 98 block, but i did a blueprinting on the block by removing all sharp edges and casting flask left over so no cracks will start, havnt had no problem... But i do have forged internals....
