A very good chance. Those things have the aerodynamics of a brick and are extremely heavy. From what I've heard/read, the reg. cab runs the quarter in mid to high 13s. The crew cab, due to its additional weight would be a little slower.
Here you go.. Taken from Car and Driver Magazine .. January 2005 issue. Dodge Ram SRT10 Quad Cab... 0-60 in 5.6 seconds
1/4 mile 14.2 @ 98 mph
Top speed 147
Gas mileage 9 mpg
A stock c5 with the 2.73 axle will run 13.6-13.7 in the 1/4

....and a stock 2001 MN6 Corvette did the 1/4 in 13.1; 0-60 came up in 4.5 seconds.
LT4-CE is absolutely right. "Be Aware"...be very aware of what you are racing regardless if it is a pick up truck, an import or a cross fire Vette. I am saying this with a very serious tone because I used to be the guy sucker punching other ego driven people who thought they had fast cars. Believe me there are tons of fast cars out there that would not only beat you but steal your money in a moments notice.
You can hide performance mods very easily in ANY" car or truck. I have a friend who is a very accomplished street racer who had a 421 small block Chevy with a big spray kit in his car nearly 15 years ago and he was running 9's in full street trim...he made more money pounding on Mustangs and Vettes with that car than you can possibly imagine. The key is that you would have never known he was making big power and you could look under the hood and you would NEVER found anything and then he would tear you a new one. Be Very Aware!
My point is very simply...be aware that it is VERY easy to go fast in a car today. Anyone can take a V8 and build 600 horsepower in a weekend with a few bucks and some spray. Most experienced nitrous users can take a fairly stock engine, swap the camshaft, put some decent heads on it and throw some budget rods and forged flat top pistons and make 700 to 800 horsepower for a couple of thousand dollars or LESS.
