Default Cleaning the air intake

Any good suggestions on the way to clean the air intake radiator screen that is under the front bumper? I looked underneath there and the mesh is dirty with bugs, straw, etc. I took a stiff brush and gently cleaned it, but there is still some debris around the sides. Any suggestions??? Thanks.

I hooked up an air compressor and blew some of the junk out. Seemed to work ok. Then followed up with a cloth wrapped around a paint stick and tried to get anything left. I was about 90% satisfied.

Hi 1sttime -

I press upward and toward the front of the car fron underneath the plastic radiator shroud - you can push it out far enough to use a crevice tool on a vac and suck the crap out of there.

Blowing it might work too, but you'll get it all in your eyes and hair etc.

I have found cig butts, mcdonalds cups, newspaper - all kinds of trash up there -

You didn't know you had a V8 vacuum cleaner, did 'ja

best regards -

I gently use a parts cleaner brush (long bristles) to clean the junk out of my radiator fins. Seems to work well.
