Which KEY FOBS will program on a '98 C5
Have a '98 C5 with marginal KEY FOBS. Mine has passive unlock.
Pain in the a**. Dealer originally supplied a different one WITHOUT the passive unlock switch, Reading the forums I gather 97-99 are usable with passive unlock option. Other posts say a 00 is usable without the passive feature. Tried my FOBS from a 99 montana. SIMILAR but UNRECOGNIZABLE.
What range of FOBS can be programmed for a 98?
Dont need to buy MORE JUNK than I currently have.
Is the 00 FOB OK?
How about later ones?
Need the same frequency and codes that the 98 will recognize.
I have reprogrammed th
em before so I know how to do it just want to know WHAT WILL Work.
I am in the market for 2 of them if anyone has ones that will work and not drop sync.

Only a 97-99 will work with a 97-99

01-04 is another
