Default Performance Technical Center in IL

I just tried to give them a call and the phone has been disconnected. The number I was trying was 847-228-7256. Anyone know what's going on with them?

Do they have a dyno there? Have you had any work performed by them?

Brian does not have a dyno at his shop but does have access to one. He has already installed my Cartek clutch, 3:73 and ripper shiffter and they work great! He is currently doing my heads, cam, SC, DRM headers and other tweaks! Does great work good prices also.

Your right it is the black 99. It should be a beast that is what we are hoping for; although mild mannered until you :smash: the gas! Then :D the good lord of rapid acceleration takes over. I can not wait to get it back!!

I just talked with Geoff yesterday and all was fine. We are getting ready for the SEMA show and meeting there. It may be a temporary thing and wouldn't worry too much at this point. Try again during the rest of the week. I have parts on order also.

Later,

Mike

I had already put a deposit on the headers just before the first time I used Brian (VetteWrench). I also wanted to have my car on the dyno after the install. I just called Brian to have him do it for me. I won't use anybody else from now on because he does great work and is reliable. I also have sent him other business since he worked on my car.

In defense of Perf Tech Center, Geoff has been very busy and his father is VERY ill. I am sure this is a very temporary thing. I think his number (I am not positive on this) is also a cell number and we now how weird the phone company can be if their payment is late in the mail. Try back in a day or two and I am sure all will be fine. Having a 1200HP dyno in house is a great benefit of using Geoff, he is not the cheapest, but he does quality work.

BTW I like Brian and vett wrench as well!

DUAL

Here is what happened with Geoff's phone. An email I received from Geoff is below.

The numbers are still the same, I changed phone companies because the one i was with (Adelphia) is dropping customers in this area and telling them to go back to Ameritech. They totally screwed us up for the past two days. I'm back with ameritech and phones are working again. Thanks Geoff.

I spoke to Geoff this morning at his shop and had no problem getting through. He told me that he had switched service from AT&T to one of those "we can save you money companies" and they just let him know that they were not making enough money and he should switch back to AT&T. Apparently that has been done because he is in the shop waiting for your calls.
