key fobs
Guys, what are key fobs? Buying a 2000 vert and some one post to make sure key fobs work? Any one have issue with leaks on this years. What problems should I look for. Been well maintained by orig owner. One problem he had was in the past was something with rear axle, Is was fixed. Is that something to worry about in future. getting an inpection (visual 100 bucks) today and smog. has 53k miles on it, perfect shape out side, insde a little wear on seats. paying 24,800 for it (wanted 27,300). he bought a 05. Going to test drive again before inpection. What should I look for that might be a warning of trouble. new tires and breaks, all maintness up to date. worryed about that rear end problem that was fixed in oct, 05. Please give me some feedbacks, I am so scared of having any thing go wrong with it after I buy it. Thanks CF

Key fobs
Key fobs are the remotes that arm and disarm your locks. You can even get fancier like some of us and get a window valet that plugs into your OBDII plug and it turns your radio off and on and rolls the windows up and down.

Check around the rear window and make sure the glass is still glued to the top material. I just bought an 01 vert and didnt see that most of the glass had come unglued. I sealed it back with 3M window adhesive, but I'll warn you if your not careful it can get messy. If you do a search for leaks you'll find what your looking for.
