I am torn between a 113 and a 112 LSA on my soon purchase of a MS3 cam. My car is a DD and I will sit in traffic from time to time. Now I want a descent chop on my idle but it does not have to be overboard. Now I know drivability is all in the tune However how much harder would it be to tune the 112? My tuner is a well established guy here and is recently getting into the LSX motors. I believe he has the know how to tune the car but what kind of headache will it be? Basically I just want some positive remarks from people running the MS3 112 or similar cam. Thanks guys, plus does changing the LSA lower in turn drop the power curve lower in the RPM band?
Thanks Bill looks like I am going with a 113. I have done research on this so dont think I was being lazy. I am just sick of reading the 1000's of posts about cams it was making my brain hurt. I just wanted some first hand conversation with people using the cam.
With a good tuner that little difference in LSA should be a nonissue.
I had a 111 LSA on a different cam and PCMforless had it fixed so nice and tame, like it was barely there. I actually made him tune it 'rougher' to get more of that lopey feel/sound
your giong to be fine with the 112lsa as long as your tuner knows what hes diong,. i ran the ms3 for a month and driveability was great! its an awesome cam,... good luck and have fun when you get it
