Default LapTrax and AutoComp

A dialog started between myself and Mike Schriber of LapTrax, Inc. concerning our two products. We agreed that one product is all that is needed to assist Corvette owners with the task of automatic selection of Active Handling modes. I have decided to sell the assets of AutoComp to LapTrax, Inc. and not to continue with development of the AutoComp controller.

The TracActive Controller by LapTrax, Inc. allows greater flexibility to control Traction Control and Active Handling compared to the AutoComp and is already on the market. LapTrax, Inc. has the resources to best continue the development of AutoComp technology and incorporate it in to future products. The TracActive Controller is a great design and should fill the needs of anyone wanting automatic selection of "Competition Mode" on the C5 Corvette.

Mike Schriber and the entire staff at LapTrax, Inc. has have been very kind during our conversations and I believe LapTrax, Inc. will be an outstanding company to do business with.

I just wanted to add that LapTrax, Inc. will work with any existing AutoComp beta testers to get their AutoComp units returned and replaced with TracActive Controllers at a special price.

I'd like to thank Tim for an excellent series of discussions and a very professional business transaction. Our mutual goal is to benefit the Corvette consumer by providing the best designed products available at a reasonable price.

Thanks!

Mike

I always thought a little competition was a good thing. If anything, it gives consumers choices.

Only on the forum would 2 competitors work out a solution so the customer is best served.
