I'm considering the drilled and slotted rotors and pads combo from R1Concepts on my 1999 coupe. Has anybody had any experience with these? Do you recommend replacing the brake lines on a 7 year old car?

won't do you any good as far as stopping just bling factor. I'd get some NAPA rotors and some good street freindly Wilwood pads. YOu don't even know who's pads they are. Where are the rotors made? China? Run them hard they will crack at the holes.

I have seen everything from "drilled" Baer Eradispeed to Brembo crack after enough hard use. What makes people think these cheap Chinese imports which every store on eBay is selling won't? I have watched several of my friends flip out when they cracked their $200.00 eBay drilled rotors within a month or so. If you even remotely drive your car hard drilled rotors are a waste of your hard earned money!

i've run these for almost a year now on my C5 and my buddy has had them for almost the same amount of time on his daily driver Lincoln LSE. Finish still looks great I will buy from them again.

Thanks for the tip on Napa. I spent a lot less on the rotors (approx. $28.00 each) and more on the brake pads, but in the end, I bought all four corners for a little more than the bargin ebay outlets and I have limited lifetime warranty on all parts from my local Napa store.
I purchased the same exact ones, it took a week to get them. But I think they look great. I did it just for the looks. I know they don't stop better but they look better. I have had mine for 3 months now. If you do get them make sure they are zinc coated. They have some that are not coated.
