I bought these little cool (just alright really) LED lights to put on the side mirrors that flash with the turn signals . Not totally sure I will put them on the car.
The link below is to the EBay site. Scroll to the bottom to see what they look like.
Of course the directions are so simple that they don't work. The directions say to just plug in the hot wire into the turn single fuse and ground the other wire. Well that's works fine it you want them to just stay on all the time. My question is: how or what do I need to plug the hot wire into to make them flash with the single? Can anyone help me with this.
That means that in a resting state the path is completed.
I am not sure about the way it is done our cars but typically the hot lead runs through the flasher then the ground is supplied by the turn signal switch through the bulb (very simplified). have you tried applying the opposite (+12v instead of ground) to the other side of the led unit?

since we have no OEM option for mirror mounted turn signal flashers, you won't find any wire inside the mirror that will trigger these properly. you will have to find the correct wire from the bundle up under the dash, t-tap it, and run a new wire through the door and up into the mirror.
