Notchy short shifter ???
I have a slightly modified 02 Zo6 that I like to occasionally drag race. I currently have a BPP s/t shifter that I don't like. I changed the position numerous times and can't get rid of that annoying "notchy double click" feel when I shift. I think It slows down my shifts! Does anyone make a short throw shifter that's smooth. Granted, I don't mind the extra push needed with a shorter shifter, but the notchy crap is annoying at the top of the shift, as well as noisy!!!

I've heard other people say this new shifter is notchy as well. I also have the BPP, and the short throws, and precision is worth the change from stock, but it is very notchy. I think the amount of hesitation between gears varies from car to car, so your results may vary. Good luck, and let us know how it works out.
