Default Door Ajar Help

New 2000 has been trouble for my wife. The Door Ajar warning shows across the display but doors are closed. Door Ajar message and interior lights flicker on and off while driving and the alarm cannot be set. Checked battery voltage and connections, 12v - 14v running.
The diagnostic codes I get are as follows:
BO-RFA U1064
U1016
U1098
Obviously I suspect the door switch, but..duh, where is it? Looked for the connector behind the rubber door boot but didn't see it.
Thanks in advance.

I think the switch is connected to the door latch (in the door). I opened my door with key on and door ajar showed on the dic. Then I put something in the latch to make like the door was closing. Door ajar on the dic went away.

So I wonder if the door panel has to be pulled to replace it?
Is there a way to check which side is bad?
