Clutch Grinding Noise
I have a RAM HD Powergrip clutch w/ steel billet flywheel w/ about 1000 miles on the clutch. Lately, the clutch has been making a grinding noise just from daily driving, not even racing it.
When I am in first gear, starting from a dead stop, and giving it a little gas before I release the clutch all the way, it makes a grinding-type noise. Once I release the clutch pedal all the way, the noise goes away. This also happens when I go in reverse.
I know this clutch that I have is supposed to chatter a little, and that chatter is heard, but the grinding is a bit unsettling.
Has anyone else experienced this (even with a different clutch) or does anyone have any idea what it might be?

Sounds like a bad throw-out bearing.
You could put up on lift and drop inspection cover, then start car while up in air with clutch pedal down to confirm.
If it's bad the whole drive line will have to be dropped to replace it.
