I have a RAM HD Powergrip clutch w/ steel billet flywheel w/ about 1000 miles on the clutch. Lately, the clutch has been making a grinding noise just from daily driving, not even racing it.
When I am in first gear, starting from a dead stop, and giving it a little gas before I release the clutch all the way, it makes a grinding-type noise. Once I release the clutch pedal all the way, the noise goes away. This also happens when I go in reverse.
I know this clutch that I have is supposed to chatter a little, and that chatter is heard, but the grinding is a bit unsettling. Has anyone else experienced this (even with a different clutch) or does anyone have any idea what it might be?
