Pesky "Check Engine" light on Speedo comes on whenever it feels like it... always throws code "P1415" AIR System Bank1..... car runs fine....
my OLD mechanic (whom I won't go to again).. said.. "no prob...lets change the air pump behind the left headlight"...we did..put in a brand new one...and the light came on again before I got home......
As I said...Car runs fine... just that damm light... NO other codes...
Can I get help??? Can I find a mechanic who cares about Vettes here in the valley??? I will Stay Tuned.... (2003 coupe Borla exaust, Halltech Ramair... no other mods that I know of (bought it modified)...

There are also check valves in the system, you can see the bank 1 (driver's) quite easily. If it is only one bank, then the check valve is very high on the suspect list as a bad pump would usually trip both bank 1 and bank 2 since neither would get the air flow.

it's just an emmisions thing, so it's not actually hurting the car, just turn it off and ignore it until you're having some other work done.
