Get this when the car is cold, (If you can use that term when referring to a vehicle in Texas these days) A few minutes later it comes back with 'WARMUP COMPLETE'I now regularly get this message. Never had it before on either of my two other C5's Anything wrong?
It was probably under 90 F overnight last night in Dallas and your C5 just isn't used to cold weather like that.
This message comes on when you make some sharp turns soon after starting up the engine. Might be when in REVERSE, can't remember for sure. Someone will confirm or set me straight. It's just the computer telling you that you have confused it a little and it needs to get it's bearing before active handling will know how to save you in a situation.
Did your other C5's have active handling ? Just a thought.

I've never had this message, but it's not un-normal. If the AH system via the EBCM is unable to calibrate the AH system immediately you'll get the warmup message until it's all synced up.
If it doesn't come back then don't worry about it.
Had that message once. Had driven car about 15 miles and let it sit for about 45 minutes, restarted and took off very hard throttle 1st gear within seconds down a hill when the message came on. Only time its ever happenned. Temperature outside was about 90.
Your owner's manual should also address this under, DIC Warnings and Messages.
Didn't mention that I have installed a Callaway Honker CAI, which, I believe, relocates the IAT sensor mentioned in these notes. This may well be the cause. Does not seem like a particularly big deal.
Mine does this from time to time and I pretty much always leave the driveway the same everytime. I do slow way down at the end of the cul-de-sac when someone has just run their sprinkler system and there is water across the road (which is pretty much all morning everyday). This seems to make it set the warning more than anything else. It's nothing to worry about, unless of course you never get the 'Warmup Complete'.

We haven't seen this message generated. I don't think it's Honker-related. Please let us all know what you find.
I got the "active handling warming up message" once a few weeks ago when I got on it a bit after starting the car first thing in the morning. The link above from GrayC5 explained it for me.
