My understanding Firestone states their run flats are not repairable. The correct way to repair Goodyear and Michelin tires is to both plug and patch the hole. Sorry to hear about your lost.

I believe they're only unrepairable if you DRIVE on them with no pressure. If you haven't driven on them in EMT mode, they should be repairable by patching from the inside.
If they're fairly new you may have road hazard coverage from Firestone. Call your local dealer and ask.
Joe,
Best to use a patch with plug (all one piece - sort of looks like a mushroom). The plug supposedly will seal the tread and keep moisture from getting into the tire's carcass.

You may have problems getting an authorized Firestone repair shop to repair them. You will just have to check and see. Below is a quote from the article, Run Flat Facts, by Hib Halverson (see about 3/4 ways down in the article):
Next, I contacted Tiffany Bryant, spokesperson for Bridgestone/Firestone USA, and Dan Guiney, spokesperson for Yokohama Tire Company. They told me that the Firestone SZ50EP RFT and the Yokohama AVS Sport Run-Flat are, also, rated for up to 50 miles of 55-mph run-flat operation, however, after any run-flat incident, neither can be repaired and both must be scrapped.
An independent repair shop might possibly repair your tire. If so, the repair as others mentioned above should include both a plug and patch or a combination plug/patch sometimes referred to as a mushroom patch. See following:
Have had both Goodyear and firestone fixed....go on line to tire rack and see if they have any recommened tire installer's in your area these places should be able to fix your tire.....run flats are a different animal and need someone who knows what they are doing......if the screw is in the side wall all bets are off they cant fix it....but in the center thread... it should be no problem
