Default Smoking problem

Upon hard acceleration (high rpm shifting) the car likes to smoke. The same thing happens when I come to a stop from a high rpm deceleration. It doesn't smoke on start up, at idle or just regular rpm shifting driving. I'm assuming that it's burning oil, but I don't think that this is normal. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be. The car has aftermarket headers and exhaust, don't know what kind because I bought it used. Thank you.

Does it knock too? Might try a PCV catch can.

or, you may need to clean/replace PCV if stuck open. Had one to stick on me, on another car, and when I decelerated, like at an off ramp, I laid down a smokescreen that blanked out all cars behind me for about 300 feet.

I checked the PCV and it seemed to be ok, it rattled when I hit it (assuming it's ok if it rattles). As for the catch can, I have no idea what that is or where it is located, but like most things that I try to fix on this car I will do some research and check it out. Thanks.

What color is the smoke? Blue would be oil, but if it is black you may be running rich. Do you know if the car was tuned with the headers?

It's whitish/blue, I'm sure that it is oil. It does have headers although I do not know what kind.
