The Vent Valve
I do not understand why there is no explaination, in the service manuel, on how to check, fix, or replace the vent valve located on the rear end housing. The manuel clearly lists the first symptom of a leaky rear end may be a faulty vent valve, and states to either fix it ( unplug it ) or replace it. But that is ALL it says. Is it me ? 
or should there be some info? Does anyone know how to test this or how much pressure is required to make the valve function. I did see in a previous thread a picture of the thing. I beleive someone said it was PRESSED into place.
