service column lock/pull key "wait ten seconds"
Hey Everyone,
OK, yesterday i went to put the car away and i got the "pull key wait ten seconds" Service column lock on the DIC. I waited and did it a couple of times and it working so i was able to pull it into the garage. My question is can i now install a CLB or do i have to go to the dealer to get the recall? I have tried to read up on it, but i am confused on that part. If you can point me in the right direction it would be great!

I just installed a clb, from Corvettes of Houston.Had it overnighted and installed it in lesss than 1/2 hr. Very easy to do, plug and play. Use the search function, as there is a very nice write up that I used by phil97.com

As long as you haven't had one specific recall (the one issued a few years ago that reprogrammed the PCM and modified the CL relay circuit) you can install the CLB.
I am going to order it right now!
