Default Oil Temp Sensor

Any one have the p/n to the oil temp sensor located next to the oil filter on a 99 FRC?? I keep getting temp readings 30-40 degrees below engine temps, or low oil temp in the DIC.
Thanks

Try like a NAPA also, they are cheaper for the generics.

is this specific to a 99 or is this also compliant with an 01? Also, when taking out the old sensor, i guess i should expect some oil to leak out? is this going to be a lot or just a little bit? THANKS!

I wish I could tell you. Went to NAPA they gave me what they thought was the right sensor, raised the car...wrong sensor. Went to the dealership, said there were two in So Cal, both in L.A. said it would be in the next day. I forgot to ask him the next day of what month. Still waiting on the sensor!!

If the engine is cold I don't think there will be much of a leak, hopefully not. Not only am I getting a low temp, I'm also getting a low oil level. Checks fine, but I think the same sensor handles both issues.

The oil level sensor is on the bottom RH side of the oil pan, and as you already know the temp is in the oil filter side
