I'm replacing my oil pressure sensor. I've followed Vectorz's instructions (very good, I might add). I just have a question on the location of the "straw".
I see the straw. I see the space where Vectorz says that it goes. The straw is vertical and the connector is horizontal. Is this for sure the right place for the straw?
I also see an elbow connector which has a vacuum line on it already. It looks to me like it goes on the connector.
Can anyone please bring clarity on this issue for me?
I have pictures...but I'm not sure that I have authority to insert them. My profile says that I may not post attachments.
Here is my recent post on this straw w/ a pic. My 1/4 tubing is connected to this "straw". I then connected it to the rubber elbow on the back of the intake via that white plastic vacutite attachment available at Autozone or any store. Tubing helps to reattach the straw to the elbow on the intake when putting the manifold back on. Avoid u having to try to get your hand back in there via contorsions! Hope that helps w/ your question.
