THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM SAID THE TUNER TRIED TWICE TO TUNE IT BUT COULDN'T GET EVERY THING OUT OF IT HE TOUGHT HE SHOULD BE ABLE TO. 382 HP AT REAR. IT WAS IDLING AT 1000RPMS TO 2000 RPMS INTERMITLY. I GOT TO LOOKING AROUND FOR VACC. LEAKS AND FOUND THE LARGE HOSE COMING OFF THE FRONT OF THE INTAKE ON THE DRIVERS SIDE LEADING TO 2 SENSORS UNHOOKED BETWEEN THE 2 SENSORS{ ANY EXPLAIN WHAT THESE ARE WOULD BE HELP}, HOOKED IT UP AND IDLE WENT DOWN TO AROUND 850. BUT AT TIMES IT WILL JUMP UP TO 2000 AGAIN. I HAVE TO SHUT ENGINE OFF THEN BACK ON AND IT WILL IDLE FINE. THE MOTOR STILL SEEMS TO IDLE HIGH AS IT PULLS THE CAR FORWARD, 'A4 ' TRANS. IKNOW THE CAR NEEDS A REPUTABLE TUNE. THE SERV. ENG LIGHT COMES ON AT EVERY START AND SOMETIMES AFTER RESETING COMES ON AFTER HARD ACCELERATION. I DID FIND A CODE TPS ??? DON'T HAVE THE DATA WITH ME. TOOK IT AND HAD A SCANNER HOOKED UP TO SEE WHAT THE CODE WAS AND THE SCANNER SHOWS NO FAULT CODES, BUT IM SETTING THERE LOOKING AT THE SERV. ENG. ALSO COULD ANY ONE TELL ME WHY THESE AND OTHER HEADS LIKE THE ONES ON THE MALLET SOUND LIKE A SEWING MACHINE ? IM NEW TO ALL TIS TUNNING AND COMPUTER CONTROLLED HP.

You don't need a scanner to read your codes, follow this link: https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...D=26&TopicID=1
As the car sits right now I would get it tuned by a reputable tuner before I started to troubleshoot anything else, a bad tune can affect alot more than what you may think.

Just Do It!!

As it was previously recommended, use the built in scanner and list the codes that you find. make sure that you also list if they are current or history (H) or (C)
Once you have the DTC's you will be able to see if anything else may be causing some of your issues. If you have a check engine light, the PCM must be seeing a code!!
As for the valve train noise, who installed you CAM?? You would need to check the valve train component geometry and make sure that you have the correct length push rods and that the rockers and springs are installed correctly!
