Default Need Troubleshooting Help!!!

Hello all! I'm at a total loss with my Vette. I'll try to be as thorough as possible in hope that someone out there can have a solution. I have had my 2000 MN6 for three months now and have spent at least two and half of them trying to fix it. To start, this isn't your normal column lock situation, so please hear me out. As I stated, my car is a 2000 MN6. It has been to the dealer twice as soon as I got it home from Texas and they are totally dumbfounded as to the entire column lock issue. While at the dealer, I had them run my VIN and print out the service history. As far as recalls, it has only had the 4006 performed (mod relay added near the BCM and re-programming of the PCM. The lock actuator has been replaced twice and the BCM three times. This indicates to me that the previous owner had the same trouble I'm having. Cscokd has helped me tremendously, but I'm still not at 100%. The current state of my car is I have a CLB installed and the mod relay from the recall is removed as directed from Cscokd. Now, here's my problem. Ever since the day I bought my Vette, it intermittently will have the "pull key" and "Service column" messages. It can happen at any time in any weather. I can go for a week or just an hour and it can pop up, therefore disabling my fuel and leaving me stranded. I have ran all new wiring from the CLB to the BCM to eliminate the possibility of any poor splices from the GM recall. I have two CLBs and have switched from one to the other. I have checked and re-crimped the terminals from the BCM harnesses and the CLB to ensure a "tight" connection. This has all been done several times. I pull fuses #25 and #29 with no change. I've pulled #23 and found it blown once, which may have been a result of me digging around. With the BCM being replaced three times previously, I ruled that out. Two CLBs...ruled that out. I can only come up with a short or bad connection somewhere, but have checked it over and over. I drove home from work Friday night and it was fine. Just for the heck of it, I tried it right after I parked it in my garage. Sure enough, got the "pull key" followed by the "service column" message. It continued to do that for about 2 hours. I went out later in the evening and it worked??? I touched nothing. This doesn't make any sense. One thing I did notice though...it seems that when the message appears, as soon as I remove the key from the ignition, the door locks will cycle a few times...the lock doesn't move, but I hear it cycling. Sounds just like when you lock the doors or when you turn your car off and the doors unlock. But this continues to make this sound several times. It only does this when I have the problem. How is this tied into it? One more concern...is the ignition switch or wires, in any way, possibly tied into this? I'm not sure if the switch was bad if it would keep the BCM from getting the correct lock/unlock state signal?? Again, this is driving me insane! I love my car, but I hate the thought of having to get rid of it, because it is unreliable. Nothing like sitting somewhere for several hours hoping it will suddenly work. I thought about trying a third CLB, but hate to spend more money on something that may not be the problem. I'm hoping that with all the forum knowledge, and responses, I may be able to once and all take care fo this. Thanks in advance to everyone...it is greatly appreciated.

Have you tryed cleaning the resistor (pellets) on the key with alcohol and or the ignition switch contacts.Just a smidge of alcohol on a Qtip and poke it in the ignition switch. On another thought if the former owner had the column lock motor replaced twice before there may be a chance who ever did the repair inside the column bumbled up those small wires or contacts for the key.
I know how frustrating it can get.Ours locked up in the driveway at home just after we purchased the car.Just keep at it and have patience its worth it,what a ride.
