Any thoughts on why my climate control does not direct air flow properly? The fan blows hard but little air flows to the uper vents. Thanks in advance for any tips!
I have that problem also periodically. Flows properly at first then after a short while it seems to get warmer, turn up the a\c, hear it working hard but not a good flow from vents.
What i do is turn it off for a little bit, turn it on and i have been able to defeat it sometimes. not sure why but in texas its H O T out to be playing a/c games.

I had the same problem last weekend, drivers side hot, passenger side cold. Never happened before.
Do a search under HVAC. Most likley what your dealing with are bad vaccuum hoses underneath the battery. Air comes out of all three locations (Floor, Vent, Dash) due to the acuators not closing.
I have the same problem with my 97 with dual a/c controls. Warm air out of driver's vents and ice cold from passenger vents when a/c is turned on with driver's control set at 65 degrees and passenger side at the "dot at the top". Very frustrating when heat index is 100+
