techno babble for a code U1016
OK some codes make sense ..
Some dont.
Anyone able to give a clear idea of what could case this.
Or what it may be.
U1016 Loss Of Communication with PCM (No SOH Message Received -RFA)
I had a ton of codes ealier from pulling the battery.
Could have sworn i cleared them all out ... and after about 45 and 2 restarts later.. (stupid gas pumps that dont take CCs suck).
I was at the second gas station and was tinkering with the codes again.
And found a history code again for the same think U1016.
Ill be watching it closely for the next couple days and see if it shows up after clearing it again (triple checked it this time)
Got to thinking in the mean time what all else could i keep an eye out on or test.
Bad grounds ... loose connectors ... gremlins i can shoot .. etc
and yes im reading through about 1500 posts that contain that code

U1016 - Means that one or more modules could NOT communicate with the PCM. if it's a history code, and you have no other communcation related codes, and no other signifigant problems, I wouldn't worry much about it.
