Default Drag Radial Sizes

I'm gonna order a set of Nitto 555Rs next week but was wondering about tire size I know the 305/35/18s are almost a perfect factory size match but I would like to have a little more sidewall. My car is stock height and I was wondering if the 305/45/18s would fit without any rubbing probs.

Some guys rub with that size, others do not. Even if it does fit it will not look or perform well except in 1/4 mile.

The 45 series is a TALL tire. I run those on my Lightning truck. It will really change your effective gear ratio, and not in a good way.
