Default Help with a code and an observation...

I have been getting codes: U1016, U1064 and U1069 every so often all with the "H" suffix...this is in the RFA section on the DIC when scrolling thru codes....I clear them when I see them and it usually takes about a week or so and they come back.

The car runs fine, no other codes and it does not have any service lights on...I did notice two things:

1) when the codes are present, my passenger window seems to choose when it wants to roll down via either the drivers or passenger switch...and if there are no codes, as in I clear them...the window magically starts working!

**could just be a bad window regulator but strange none the less**

2) I have the F45 suspension option- the controller is located in the rear drivers side compartment...I asked about this in another post- so from those answers, that is what I will call it...anyway, there is a large wire harness that goes thru that compartment out under the car and up around the torque tube then I can't follow it...but there was water coming in the wire harness from under the car and getting the module wet along with the carpet etc...when I say water- I mean you could see moisture on the connectors as well as some around the module itself...

I went ahead and electrical taped everything up as good as possibe, so hopefully this will stop the rain from the rear tire coming in...

so now to my question- if this is in fact the F45 brain, could the above codes be caused by it getting wet? or is this a wild goose chase?

any help or thought welcome!

I get the same codes, don't have any window problems or F45.
I was thinking maybe it's because I have some of the options turned off like the horn and lights flash when I lock and unlock with the key fob and autolock-unlock. I have had these codes since I bought the car and never had any problems and they always come back. Have a beer, don't worry.

Bob this might be something for you to look at. Those codes are communication history codes. I realize this is drivers door however there is a module in the passenger side as well. I had the same problem a couple years ago and simply pushing the plugs in fixed it.

Thank you! I will give this a try! After reading it- I am willing to bet this is the problem!
