or you can try re-programing them all together using the DIC, the directions are floating around here somewhere,,, do a search, this has happened before...I'll see if I can dig them up too

Ron,
If you have an Owner's Manual the two procedures are in there. Page 2-11 in my 98 OM. It has instructions for synchronizing your remotes and also matching your remotes to your car.
Check the contacts inside the remote and make sure the battery is installed properly.
Note:
If you're free Saturday evening (9th) there is a corvette cruise-in at the Home Depot located at Taylorsville Rd. & Hurstbourne Pkwy. in Louisville. It starts at 6 and goes to 10 PM.
If you're still having problems with the remote we'll take a look at it Sat.

Reprogramming is simple: (Make sure you turn the key to the on position first...It is also helpful to close the door and clear any warning codes before starting)

1) Just use the push the option button repeatedly until the screen is blank.
2) Push and hold the reset button until it says programming mode or something like that.
3) Push reset one more time. It will say hold lock and unlock on 1st FOB. Once it learns the code it will tell you to repeat for second, and then the third.
4) It will then enter tire programming mode. Since you do not need this just turn off the key and it will exit programming mode.

See following thread:

Keyless entry not working?

Also, you should be able to find a number of threads on this topic by searching on the key words FOB or Keyless Entry in both the C5 Tech and C5 General sections of the Forum.

Good luck.
