Any DIY for the output shaft??

Im pulling the rear end of the car doen now. Are there any tips for getting the left shaft out, or anything i should watch out for when i pull the case apart to get the broken shaft out?

Be easy on the stud when pulling it out of the differential, mine wanted to loosen up on me when reinstalled

do i need to unhook the torque tube or can i lower it enough to get the carier off?

You should be able to get it off without removing the torque tube. I think either cajun or dope has something on this in their write-up.

I left the first 5 bolts for the front for the tunnel plate installed, then lowered the torque tube and used the tunnel plate as a stop (along with a jackstand). Then theres barely enough room to slide the differential off
